e.l.f. cosmetics!

I recently purchased these items from e.l.f. cosmetics online, and want to give a quick review of what I thought of them!
First off, I have never owned a primer before, so when I saw that e.l.f.'s Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer was only $6, I decided to order two different ones to compare the effects! I purchased "clear" (#20910) and "radiant glow" (#20815), and had very mixed results. The clear one is awesome, especially for the price. It makes my skin smooth and soft, reduces any oil I might have on my nose and chin, and creates a perfect canvas for the rest of my makeup! The radiant glow primer claimed to create a "luminizing effect" to even out dark spots and skin tone. In my experience with it, however, it simply had a yellowish tint and obvious sparkles in it. From a distance, this might create the claimed luminous effect, but up close I think it looks a little weird to have all over your face for an everyday wear!
I was really happy with the Studio Baked Eyeshadow in "enchanted" (#81271). It's a pretty pinkish gold color that goes on pretty smoothly and is definitely worth the $3!
The Studio Fan Brush is very soft and picks up product pretty well, but does distribute it on my face kind of unevenly. To be expected for $3 though! The Essential Eyelash and Brow Wands ($1 each!) are named perfectly- I CANNOT do makeup without them! They are essential to my eyebrow and mascara routine, and I am so happy to have found full-sized ones for so cheap, instead of having to use the tiny free ones you can find at most makeup counters.
I haven't tried the Studio Brush Shampoo ($3) or the Studio Daily Brush Cleaner (also $3), but I plan to have a huge brush-cleaning day and try both of them out! The shampoo is meant to be a more powerful cleaner used weekly to get all of the product out of the bristles, and has to be rinsed. The daily cleaner is meant to be used between different products to gently clean the brushes and just has to be wiped off between uses.
Overall I LOVE e.l.f. cosmetics! They are SUPER affordable, and are pretty good quality for the prices! If you're trying out a new product (like I was with the primer and fan brush), I definitely recommend e.l.f.!

Target Mini-Haul

Today I did some shopping at Target, somehow they always manage to suck me into buying something! I picked up this Maybelline mascara - The Rocket. I tried it as soon as I got home and I'm a big fan! I had been using the Maybelline Illegal Lengths mascara, but The Rocket seems to be far better at accentuating lashes. It only cost around $6, and I've heard it raved about so much I just had to try it! I got it in waterproof so hopefully I can still use it when I start swimming in my pool. It's warming up quickly here! I also picked up this makeup remover because I wasn't sure if my Neutrogena makeup remover face wash would really get the mascara off very well. I'm not a huge fan of how the makeup remover leaves my skin feeling, but it gets my makeup off! It says oil-free but it does leave my skin feeling oily. I always wash my face morning and night anyway, so the oiliness isn't a huge issue for me. Overall I'd say it was a successful trip to Target!
